Plasmodium Ovale
Structure:
It is selectivity for young and the host cell becomes enlarged and distorted in an oval form. Schüffner's dots appear as pale-pink granules, and the cell border is frequently fimbriated.

Clinical Syndromes:
Untreated infections last roughly a year instead of several years. Both relapse and recrudescene phases are alike to Plasmodium vivax.
Treatment, Prevention and Control:
Drug resistant strains such as phenanthrene methanols, halofantrine, lumafantrine, artemesinins, artemether and artsunate.
